Do you have any required vendors?

Below is our list of Pre-approved Vendors that includes our event partners. Additional vendors must be approved.

What are your catering policies?

You may choose from our list, or choose your own at no additional cost – in all cases, the caterer must be a licensed, insured business, approved by TAE on Talbot and able to provide full-service staffing until close.

What kind of bar can there be?

We allow beer, wine, champagne and liquor; however we require that your caterer (who can provide proof of liquor license) provide a bartender to oversee alcohol consumption. BYOB is also allowed; but a licensed bartender with proof of liability insurance is required. If alcohol is present we require food to be served as well.

Are there audio/visual (A/V) restrictions?

Our simple AV package allows you to play music from the sound system. For all other uses, PowerPoint Presentations, videos, and use of microphones, we request that you hire our in-house A/V technician to operate the sound system. We allow musicians and DJ’s to plug into the existing sound system.

Are there decor restrictions?

Once you’re here for a tour, you may find that TAE on Talbot is an original work of art itself!  We do have restrictions that are in place to ensure the venue stays in pristine condition.

We do not allow nailing, cutting, piercing, gluing or taping of any part of any structure. All candles must be placed inside votives, no open flames are allowed. We require detailed decor plans so that we may approve them. We know every event has a different design and we are willing to work with you on your decor needs.

Do you have a designated parking area?

We can accommodate up to (6) vehicles in our private parking area, including (1) handicap space. We recommend contracting Starlight Valet or Go Tuk’n for valet services.

Yes. According to the contract, you (or your event planner/caterer) must complete the clean up procedures required immediately following your event.

  • All food and beverage items must be removed from the building following your event.
  • The kitchen should be cleaned to its original state.
  • All large messes on the floor must be properly cleaned. This includes food, confetti, flower petals, wine spills, etc.
  • Break down all boxes, bag all trash, and remove from the venue. You will have to take this with you as we do not have a dumpster on site.
