First Event for TAE on Talbot!

Annie Pajcic has worked so hard to bring these big dreams to great reality. Years ago, she sat with her father and imagined a day where she could bring new life to his building in the Historic Shoppes of Avondale. Together, they envisioned so much for the space, like art workshops for her ministry, ThouArtExalted, a safe and creative space for youth to use throughout the week, and an inspired event venue to add beauty to the special neighborhood of Avondale. Purchasing the building from her mother last year, Annie and her husband, Curry, took to the drawing board to realize this vision.

Through determination and great prayer, they faithfully walked through the process from demolition to roof-raising to now have one of the most beautiful venues in Jacksonville. With every detail perfectly attended to, the space flawlessly mixes Annie’s creativity (and loads of original artwork) with her passion for hospitality and sharing Christ with others. What’s more, it’s a great space to see all that ThouArtExalted has grown into over the years with numerous Bible studies and past art projects on display.

“What a time this has been, ” said Annie Pajcic. “Never did I dream that I would add contractor and building owner to my name, but God and my sweet parents (who have both since passed away) must have. It has been a remarkable transformation and gives me great peace knowing that it’s the building where both of my parents grew their businesses for more than thirty-five years.”

To kick off the space, Annie and Curry celebrated the completion of TAE on Talbot by throwing a Superbowl Viewing Party for friends and family. “It was a great way to see the space in action and show its true versatility,” said Curry Pajcic. And versatile it is. The space can easily transform from a seated-dinner wedding reception to an art workshop. It’s perfect for entertaining in any fashion you see fit and includes all the accessories you’d need to make it look absolutely gorgeous.
